Brian had an amusing conversation with our five-year old after collecting him from maternelle (kindergarten) today.
As soon as he got home, he shared the conversation with me, an amused grin on his face.
Brian: How was school today, buddy?
Edmund: Fine.
Brian: Did you learn any new French words?
Edmund: No, not really.
Brian: You didn’t learn anything today?
Edmund lifts his face upward and squints, thinking: Well, I learned Fuck.
Brian: ………..Stunned pause…………..
Edmund: It means seal.
Brian: Ohhh………phoque! Phoque! Yes, it does mean seal in French!
