“I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run I feel His pleasure.” ~ E. Liddell from Chariots of Fire
This December I’ve been meaning to share with you pictures of what I see during my runs. Agde is so different from the city I grew up in. So when I’m outside exploring, whether on my bike or in my running shoes, I can’t help but be captivated by its charm.
Running for me is a connection of heart, mind, body, and spirit. It’s my workout time, my mommy-alone-time, and prayer time wrapped up in half-hour to one-hour stretches. It’s an opportunity to breathe deeply, smile, meditate, and take in the beauty of my surroundings. A quickening of heartbeat and movement of body reaffirms my inner vitality and reminds me to always value my health.
Running = Poetry = Prayer
